Before tonight's Emmys broadcast kicks off, we've forced to watch a number of forced, awkward conversations between clueless interviewers and celebs who are dressed to the nines and ready to sit tf down. It's just one of the more mysterious parts of celeb culture. During E!'s red carpet extravaganza, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Friends star Matt LeBlanc were forced to have a conversation based around this picture from May, which appears to have been taken backstage at The Graham Norton Show. And in less than 30 seconds, this split-screen gets awkward as hell.
Emilia smiled and mentioned that she's "definitely the fan" in their friendship, but Matt? Matt is on some other shit. He was asked if he was a fan of Game of Thrones, and he legit fixed his lips to say the following: "I saw the first season and I kind of fell out of touch with it. And I guess that's when she started getting naked—so I need to catch up."
Now, Matt, I don't know what it's like in Hollywood, because obviously, but here in the real world, you don't just openly say shit like "oh I need to catch up on your TV show to see you naked." That comes off creepy...super creepy. Twitter was definitely not here for it:

Emilia responded like a G, saying she thinks Matt never really watched Game of Thrones and joked about him never getting naked on Friends, but truth be told, we might've just seen how clueless Matt LeBlanc can be. That's some serious zero f*cks given action, on live television no less.
