Here's a First Look at an Old, Beat-Up Wolverine in 'Logan'

The team over at Logan has been dropping creepy images of the cast over the last several weeks, but fans still haven't gotten a look at Hugh Jackman's aging Wolverine. Until now. 

Director James Mangold gave everyone what they wanted Wednesday morning, and it isn't what they expected. Jackman's Wolverine is both scar-riddled and grizzled. Looks like he's been having a rough time since we last saw him.

Per Gizmodo, this Logan is "described as being older (the film has been frequently rumored as loosely adapting the 'Old Man Logan' comic book storyline), with his powers not as functional as they once were." His "mutant healing factor" leads him to a "constant state of chronic pain," for which Logan turns to booze.
