One of the sadder and more infuriating stories over the summer came with the revelation that Saturday Night Live stalwart Leslie Jones' website had been broken into by hackers, who subsequently shared a series of nude photos and personal information. It was a bewildering bookend to the incredible amount of online vitriol that had been spewed in her direction because of her race and her involvement in the recent female-led Ghostbusters film. Jones handled both episodes with an amazing amount of grace and courage, and on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, decided that she was going to have the last laugh.

In the sketch, Pete Davidson plays the show's dark, cyber-centric protagonist Elliot Alderson. Instead of trying to take down Evil Corp. and the world economy, Davidson's character is commissioned by Jones to figure out who hacked her. Jones satirizes her own technological ineptitude—she busts out a completely ancient personal computer, and her password turns out to be "password"—before Elliot discovers that she wasn't hacked by an outside group after all. Jones somehow managed to unleash all of her most private information completely by accident. “It seems you backed up your photos to your online website,” Elliot reveals. “Don't know how you did it, it's actually really hard to do.”

As it turned out, Rami Malek, who portrays the lead character in the FX series, watched the sketch and found the entire thing to be hilarious.

Cracked up last night. The #MRROBOT parody on @nbcsnl might even make Elliot laugh.
