Curb Your Enthusiasm season 9 now feels like a very real thing that's actually happening. HBO celebrated the start of production Friday with a hilarious clip of J.B. Smoove as Leon Black, futilely trying to get our guy Larry David to leave his trailer and say hello to impatient fans (me!) before understandably giving up on all of that:

We don't really know what the hell to expect when Curb Your Enthusiasm finally returns, but we do know this: Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen will be back. The husband-and-wife duo will again play themselves, the Hollywood Reporterconfirmed Monday. Danson and Steenburgen join the previously announced Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman, and (of course) David and Smoove.

Longtime Curb Your Enthusiasm executive producer David Mandel spoke to THR over the summer about the new season, revealing he had always held out hope for LD's return. Same. "I'm thrilled that he decided to do it," Mandel said. "Take out any of my involvement, I'm thrilled as a fan that there's going to be more Curb Your Enthusiasm. We'll get to see at least one new episode. He's going to make somewhere between one and 10 episodes, so I'm really excited about that."

HBO is also prepping for the end of Game of Thrones by battling script leaks, but who gives a shit about that? Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back! Check your priorities.
