Apparently Scott Disick reviving his Lord-esque ways on last week's Keeping Up With the Kardashians wasn't enough to boost the show's numbers. Ratings for the long-running reality series are in the middle of a "downward trend," at least according to Page Six's sources. In fact, E! is now looking into expanding its brand into daytime TV to make up for the slack.

The network is reportedly brewing a pilot for a daily panel-style show set to square off against allegedly real programs like The View, which recently lost Raven-Symoné to a That's So Raven sequel and CBS' eerily similar The Talk. The untitled series is said to "target a millennial audience" by focusing on celebrity news. That's an interesting claim because, if we're being honest, I don't know a single person under the age of 40 who watches daytime TV. But I digress.

A spokesperson for E! confirmed a "test run" of the daytime series Tuesday but denied claims of a decline in Keeping Up With the Kardashians ratings. "This is completely unrelated to our successful slate of reality programming, including pop-culture phenomenon [Kardashians], which remains one of the most-watched series in cable," the spokesperson toldPage Six.

Kourtney Kardashian briefly pondered the prospects of a post-KUWTK life back in August, telling You Magazine the end of each season always brings temporary relief. "I don't want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did," Kardashian said. "I could just move away from it all."
