Full Frontal with Samantha Bee has been exactly the sort of weekly slice of comedically presented truth we've all needed in 2016, an unreasonably shitty year. Though John Oliver, perhaps unfairly, still gets the lion's share of retweets and awards for his Last Week Tonight deep-dives, Samantha Bee's approach to late-night evisceration has remained some of the finest on TV since debuting in February. Thanks to TBS knowing what's up, Bee's reign will continue for at least one more year.

The network has renewed Full Frontal for season 2, set to begin Jan. 11. As calendar nerds will note, that date is not the show's usual Monday slot. As part of the renewal, Bee's team will relocate to a Wednesday time slot. "I am only sorry that this renewal leaves me unavailable for a cabinet position in the new administration," Bee said in a press release Wednesday. "I will, however, be available to host the White House Correspondents Dinner, seeing as I already bought the dress."

Full Frontal has been averaging just over 3 million viewers across all platforms each week, earning it a coveted spot in the top three late-night shows for non-lame adults between the ages of 18 and 49. So, yeah, of course this show got picked up for another round. "In less than a year, Sam has become one of the most talked-about personalities in all of television and Full Frontal's audience continues to grow," Thom Hinkle, senior vice president of original programming for TBS, said. "We're so lucky to have Sam and her Emmy-nominated team, led by the brilliant Jo Miller, as part of the TBS family."

For this week's episode, Bee took a long and terrifying look at the white nationalists-approved picks for the President-elect's White House team. The rumored cabinet list, Bee explained, is essentially just a collection of "misfits, deplorables, zealots, and extremists." True AF. Can we just go ahead and give Bee a 10-season order right now?
