Netflix Canada is releasing a first look at a few of the key character in its next superhero series, Iron First, which debuts on March 17, 2017.
Note: While Iron Fist has been featured in numerous Marvel comics since the early 1970s, he's arguably not as high profile as a Daredevil, Captain America, or Iron Man… So if you’re asking yourself ‘who the f*ck is Iron Fist?’ then we suggest you read this.
Iron Fist is the fourth live-action Marvel original series to hit Netflix -- Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are already available on the streaming service. That means if you're keeping score, after Iron Fist drops, we'll have all four members of The Defenders aligned. Word is that Marvel's The Defenders will be coming next, hitting Netflix sometime in 2017.
Iron Fist follows the story of billionaire Danny Rand, played by Finn Jones, who returns to New York 15 years after being presumed dead in a plane crash. Rand is determined to reconnect with his past and his family legacy and fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
