Did Monica and Chandler Move Into the 'Home Alone' House During Final 'Friends' Season?

'Friends,' despite not being as good as 'Seinfeld,' apparently has a weird connection to 'Home Alone.'

Now that we have plenty of theories to pick from regarding how the hell Kevin McCallister's dad made so much damn money in Home Alone, let's move on to a more pressing topic: Did Monica Geller and Chandler Bing move into the McCallister house during the final season of Friends?

Of course not, squidbrains. But just for the hell of it, let's go along with 22 Vision's impressive investigation into what they describe as the "eerie connection" between the 1990 John Hughes classic and an NBC sitcom that's simply not as good as Seinfeld yet continues to be mentioned in the same breath.

The video, which is now making the usual rounds on Uproxx and elsewhere, first reminds us that Monica and Chandler bravely moved into a house in the 'burbs in season 10. "The view from their window is exactly what you'd see if you were inside the McCallisters' house," the clip explains. Either as a cruel joke or perhaps due solely to sheer coincidence, Friends decided to use some background shots from the Home Alone stash. So, um, Monica and Chandler kinda did move into the McCallister house.

Given that Peter McCallister was either a big shot (i.e. asshole) Chicago lawyer or a front office worker for the Bulls, let's just hope that this house—a house which, if this theory were taken literally, exists in both Westchester and Chicago—was given the same money-drenched treatment when the Bing-Gellers moved in.

Ideally, this would also mean that Joey Tribbiani suddenly joined the Wet Bandits while giving method acting a shot later in his career.
