The Sundance Film Festival just wrapped up this weekend and a handful of Canadian films were said to have made quite the impression this year. There were a total of nine Canadian films on deck, three of which were by indigenous producers, so it was quite the year for our country at the film fest that has, since 1978, been one of the premiere independent film festivals in the world.
Here are five of the Canadian entries in this year's Sundance Festival that caught our eye. With awards season in full swing, it's not a bad time to add these to your watch lists.
