Finally, we're here: Iron Fist, the final piece in Marvel's Defenders puzzle, has received its official trailer. The series, which premieres on March 17 exclusively on Netflix, is the fourth original series in the world Marvel is building on Netflix.

The show, which fully introduces Danny Rand, aka the mystical warrior known as Iron Fist, into Marvel's Cinematic Universe, looks like it'll be a couple of things. On the one hand, it will be the origin story of a kid who loses his parents and gains the ability to have glowing fists and jack people up. On the other, it's the story of a man trying to figure out why the company he owns is now out of his control. This isn't some "Trump's America" sh*t, but one could understand why shows like Luke Cage or Jessica Jones are more immediately appealing than "rich white dude wants his stuff back."

Here's Netflix's official synopsis of the series.

"Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist. Marvel's Iron Fist premieres March 17, 2017 exclusively on Netflix."

Keep it locked, as we'll definitely have more regarding this series to devour as the series' premiere draws near.
