A freshly released teaser for 'Deadpool 2' provides the expected mix of profanity, lampooning traditional superhero tropes, and sophomoric humor.

After Deadpool reportedly racked up over $760 million at the box office, appetites are being whet for a sequel to the blockbuster film. A teaser for Deadpool 2 hit the internet late Friday afternoon, and various reports have the clip airing in theaters before fellow Fox powerhouse Logan.

Anyone know the number to 911?

Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the titular character with a bumbling send up of Superman that finds Deadpool eventually resting on the corpse of the victim he was meant to save.

“I spent way too long in the phone booth,” Deadpool quips. “If I’m being honest with myself, I should’ve just called 9-1-1.”

As with many of Marvel’s comic book adaptations, Stan Lee makes a cameo during Deadpool’s botched rescue attempt, and fan theories are already popping up about Easter eggs hidden in the teaser.

What’s been airing before Logan isn’t a proper post-credits scene, the clip is just a quick announcement giving the release date of the Deadpool sequel as “not soon enough.” It also includes a HUGE text scroll that reads like a really odd book report on Ernest Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea.

Thanks to our main dude Ryan Reynolds, we no longer have to watch the poorly recorded cell phone version. Check out the Deadpool 2 teaser above.
