Photographers have to eat too, and because of that Khloe Kardashian finds herself in the midst of a lawsuit for a photo she uploaded to her IG account more than seven months ago.

The lawsuit was filed by Xposure Photos this past Tuesday. The picture, which was only licensed for the Daily Mail, was initially put up on her page all the way back on September 14, 2016. The photo showed Khloe emerging from a Miami restaurant with her sister Kourtney. Subsequently (and wisely) the pic has also been erased from Kourtney's stream.

Xposure's suit is reportedly seeking as much as $150,000 for damages for what they allege is "willful, intentional, and malicious" copyright infringement. On top of that sum, they're also looking for an extra $25,000 for the removal of the agency's credit on the pic, which they claim is an "unauthorized alteration or removal of copyright information." They also want an injunction, as well as profits they lost from copyright infringement.

Xposure accused Kardashian and 10 people on her social media team of screwing them out of some dough (10 people for social media, WTF?!). In an excerpt of their lawsuit posted on Variety, they said:

"Kardashian’s Instagram post made the photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers and others, consumers of entertainment news—and especially news and images of Kardashian herself, as evidenced by their status as followers of Kardashian—who would otherwise be interested in viewing licensed versions of the photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff’s customers."

Time to see what those Kardashian lawyers can do.
