Schwarzenegger Just Ripped Into Trump With the Perfect 'Terminator' Reference

Schwarzenegger is one of only a few Republicans to have publicly rebuked Trump's actions as POTUS.

In light of Trump using his tiny hands to give the entire planet the middle finger Thursday, former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a video statement that included an unfortunately timely Terminator reference.

"One man cannot destroy our progress," Schwarzenegger, a Republican, said in a video shared by @ATTN Thursday night. "One man can't stop our clean energy revolution. And one man can't go back in time. Only I can do that."

Trump's decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate deal, Schwarzenegger added, directly contradicts with a president's "first and most important responsibility" of protecting the American people. "The people will rise up," he said. "Local and state governments will rise up. Other leaders from local governments will rise up and fill the void that you're creating."

Trump's idiocy-laden decision resulted in the exit of Disney CEO Bob Iger and Tesla CEO Elon Musk from Trump's advisory councils.

In an extended statement to Variety, Iger reaffirmed his support of climate change efforts. "Protecting our planet and driving economic growth are critical to our future, and they aren't mutually exclusive," Iger said.

Former POTUS Barack Obama also issued a statement following Trump's low-energy press conference. "The nations that remain in the Paris Agreement will be the nations that reap the benefits in jobs and industries created," Obama said. "I believe the United States of America should be at the front of the pack."
