Kanye West and Kim Kardashian want another child to join North and Saint, but it sounds like they don't want to go about it the old-fashioned way. According to a report from TMZthe celebrity couple has hired a surrogate to carry their next child.

If that sounds a little bit extra on their behalf—surely a few of you thought, "Why can't Kim just have the baby?"—this jives with reports from years ago that any Kardashian pregnancy would be a risk to her health. She reportedly has a condition called placenta accreta, a life-threatening condition where blood vessels and parts of the placenta grow too deep into the uterine wall. TMZ claims she attempted to have surgery to fix the issue, but it was reportedly unsuccessful.

Being Kim and Kanye's surrogate sounds like pretty good work if you can get it. The lucky lady will reportedly make a minimum of $45,000 over a 10-month period for carrying their child, with some obvious restrictions on what she can do during the pregnancy. She'll have to avoid the usual pitfalls, like drinking, smoking, and jumping into hot tubs, and she'll also be limited to a maximum of one caffeinated beverage per day. Hopefully coffee isn't too big a part of her early routine.

Given the sum of money the couple has between the two of them, this feels like a great trade on their part. They can use the nine-month period to go about their business, continuing their respective hustles without having to adjust their schedules at all. Kanye has reportedly been hiding out in parts unknown with Pusha T, attempting to find himself creatively once again, and it's a little easier to do that when you're not worried about taking care of a pregnant wife.

No word yet on what the couple will choose to call the third child in their clan, but since Kim doesn't have to deal with the physical component of birth, they have plenty of time to rack their brains in a search for child No. 3's name.
