Shia LaBeouf Issues Apology After Racist Video Surfaces

Shia LaBeouf is apologetic. Again.

Believe it or not, the situation surrounding Shia LaBeouf's recent arrest in Georgia just got even worse. A short while ago, TMZ released a new video showing Shia berating a white officer while bringing up the cop's wife in a manner that is, well, simply uncalled for. Go ahead and take a look at the above video to see what we're talking about.

Minutes after this latest video was made public, LaBeouf issued an apology, calling this latest incident "a low I hope is a bottom."

LaBeouf was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. The incident escalated when the actor, who was asking around for a cigarette, was told by an officer to leave. Whether it was the denial or the inability to bum a cigarette, Shia became "aggressive" and the police placed him in handcuffs in a hotel lobby. On Tuesday, TMZposted body cam footage of LaBeouf going off on officers during his arrest.

The irony in LaBeouf's apology is the part where he mulls over whether "these statements are too frequent or not shared often enough." One month ago, the actor was slapped with a $5 million lawsuit after he was caught on camera—sound familiar?—going insane—sound familiar?—after a bartender refused to serve him French fries. At one point in his tirade, Shia could be heard shouting, "You fucking racist bitch." Sound familiar?

This behavior by LaBeouf is nothing new, so it would best to take his latest apology with a grain of salt. At this point, it's about actions, not words.
