The 2013 NCAA Lacrosse playoff action has been heating up as of late, as the we get set for this weekend’s Final Four showdown. Tomorrow, the collegiate lacrosse scene will get even hotter thanks to Nike, who has outfitted three of the four remaining teams, Syracuse, Cornell, Duke (Denver is sponsored by Warrior), with two innovative uniform systems to choose from: the Vapor Lacrosse Uniform, and Hypercool Uniform.

Made from recycled Dri-FIT fabrics, the Vapor Lacrosse Uniform still keeps the loose fit of traditional lacrosse jerseys, but with a slightly more custom fit that contours to the body to reduce on-field distractions. While Duke and Syracuse will rock the Vapor Uniform, Cornell will hit the field in the Hypercool Uniform, which features a flat-seam construction and a unique burnout mesh panel in the back for optimal temperature regulation.

On their feet, the players will wear the latest version of Nike’s most popular lacrosse cleat, the Huarache IV. The cleat features a more streamlined design than the previous model. It comes complete with Flywire in the upper for a reliable, lock down fit, as well as a Phylon midsole for responsive cushioning. Nike has also rolled out the SpeedLax IV cleats designed specifically for the women’s teams in this year’s tournament.

The semifinal action kicks off on Saturday. Which teams do you think will punch a ticket to the big game?
