Earlier this month, Nike SB added to their growing range of signature models with the Project BA. The Nike SB Project BA's full-length Lunarlon cushioning and a dynamic fit system ensure that the Brian Anderson-endorsed model delivers form-fitting comfort on the bumpiest of rides. But what does the man himself think about his first official signature sneaker?

In this video, Brian Anderson and Nike SB designer Fabrico Costa break down the concept behind the Project BA. Interestingly enough, the skate model is inspired by the construction and form of running sneakers. Most notably, Anderson cites the "upturned runner toe" and its efficiency when performing flip tricks.

Anderson mentions his desire for a sleek, running-inspired silhouette that allows the heel to sit low like a traditional skate shoe for board feel. In the clip, Anderson and Costa also break down the advantages of the Lunarlon cushioning and dynamic fit setup. There's even concept sketches from Anderson himself and footage of the Nike SB Project BA in action, so check out the clip for the full story.

Pick up the Nike SB Project BA today for $120.
