Frank the Butcher and Rick Williams are great friends, and equally dope sneaker collaborators, and they're not guys afraid to experiment with other brands as long as the outcome is amazing. The two have combined their collective brands, BAU and the Distinct Life, for a collection with Saucony under the name "Novem."
As of now, we have a preview of two pairs of Shadow 5000s that the duo designed, and they have us excited. Not just because FTB and Williams are attached to the project, but because they feature buttery suede, and we're in for a low-key release that true sneakerheads will be fighting over.
One pair is in a tan suede with red accents and laces while the other is in a navy and grey suede. From our estimations, these are definitely fall colorways, so let's hope that "Novem" means a November release.
