Sneaker culture is driven by aspiration. From watching athletes and celebs to keeping up with your friends and older brother, sneakerheads have always been captivated to stay fresh because of the influence of others they idolized. Taking this a step further, you now get a chance to find out some of your idols' favorite sneakers.
The exhibit "All Time Favorites," from artist Caroll Lynn van den Brom (@careaux), examines the favorite kicks of some O.G. sneakerheads as illustrated by Careaux. The exhibit will highlight the favorite sneakers from the likes of Jeff Staple, Hiroshi Fujiwara, DJ Clark Kent, and our very own Russ Bengtson.
The opening reception will take place tomorrow, 7 p.m. EST, at Reed Space (151 Orchard Street) in New York.
