Vans is bringing that heat to keep skaters and sneakerheads dry during the fall and winter seasons ahead. Its new Mountain Edition collection, which consists of the classic Era and Sk8-Hi models, have been completely upgraded to battle it out against the elements.
Each sneaker is constructed of a Scotchgard-treated upper with a gusset-style tongue to repel liquid and moisture. Even the interior of the Era and Sk8-His receive an upgrade with its fleece lining and heat retention layer placed between the outsole and sockliner. Rounding out the #cozyboy specs is the outsole, which takes the signature waffle design and updates it with a more aggressive traction pattern for maximum grip on slippery surfaces.
