Recently we showed you a teaser that Bodega had posted for an upcoming collaboration. Now we’ve got full details.
Bodega has teamed with Vans Vault on their third collaboration for a whole new version of the Authentic LX. The low profile sneaker, a stalwart for skaters, surfers, and BMX riders, is done up in fleece for two different pairs, called the “Fleece Pack.” Both pairs feature two-tone gum soles, round woven laces, and branding on the tongue and sock liner.
You can see the pairs in action in their lookbook that follows Marty Walsh of Geekhouse Bikes as he builds a custom bike frame. They chose Marty to show off the shoe because Bodega prefers to stick with people who are admirable for what they do, rather than for pure aesthetics. Plus, Marty makes and rides bikes, making the “'BDGA Sports” branding fit perfectly.
The Bodega x Vans Authentic LX “Fleece Pack” will be available Saturday, October 11 at 12:01 AM EST online, and in store that morning. They’ll retail for $100 each.
