As a boxer, politician and singer, Manny Pacquiao is truly a modern day renaissance man. Now you can add one more title to Pacman's impressive resume: pro basketball player.

You read that right. Last night, Pacquiao debuted as a player-coach for Kia Sorento of the Philippine Basketball Association. So what did Pacquiao lace up for his much awaited debut? The Nike Hyperdunk 2012, of course. As one of the world's greatest athletes, you'd think he'd have the hookups to get him some more recent sneakers, right? We guess he is just sticking to what works. Pacquiao played sparingly, seeing just seven minutes of court time. In those seven minutes, he turned the ball over twice, showing why he probably only played seven minutes. Nevertheless, Kia was victorious 80-66 over Blackwater Elite. Pacquiao said after the game that he plans to take a break from his basketball-playing duties in order to train for his upcoming fight against Chris Algieri on November 22.

Take a look at Pacquio's Nike Hyperdunks below and keep it with Sneaker Report for more news regarding Pacman's budding basketball career.
