Sneakerheads who graduated from trading cards and moved on to kicks might be going back to the world of glossy card stocks and holograms.

Trading card company Upper Deck is set to release its latest Exquisite Basketball collection, which includes an all-new insert titled UD Signature Kicks. Each athlete's card will feature a cut-up patch of their signature sneaker as well as an autograph. Patches can be taken from the outsole, heel counter, logo, and laces. Notable athletes and sneakers in the insert include Michael Jordan's XIII and V, Penny Hardaway's Foamposite One, and LeBron James' LeBron 9 "Christmas."

Knowing actual sneakers were cut up will probably make sneakerheads cringe, but hey, you've got to give it up to Upper Deck for literally adding a new dimension to trading cards and going beyond a cut-up jersey.

Watch out for the collection to release soon at Upper Deck stockists.
