Paris based brand Brooklyn We Go Hard has done two previous collaborations with Puma. Their first was relatively small and under the radar, but resulted in a huge amount of post release hype, blowing up in the resale market. The second was a collection on its own, consisting of eight different shoes, and each was received differently, some well, others not as well. But we’ve just gotten a peek at the third joint effort, and it looks like BWGH and Puma refocused and is putting out bangers only.
The third collaboration uses the same model they’ve used the entire time, the R698, in three distinct colorways. The first is a navy nubuck and mesh with their signature looped Puma form stripe. Peach and grey nubucks wrap the heel over a white midsole. The second is mostly grey, with a rich navy and dark hey on the heel, and the third is cream with navy and light grey on the heel.
These pairs show a loyalty to their brand story, using the same woven laves and textures as before, but show a sophisticated restraint fans have been waiting for.
No release details are known at this time, but if past is prologue, you won’t be able to escape these.
