When it comes to rappers that are sneakerheads, few have put in the years of collecting and dedication to being fresh as Brooklyn native Fabolous. Earlier this year, he sat down with Russ Bengtson and DJ Clark Kent to talk sneakers on Quickstrike, and, now, he's back for the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping with Joe La Puma.
Fab linked up with Joe and took a trip across the Hudson to Packer Shoes in Teaneck, N.J. Although he was on a mission to pick up a few pairs of sneakers, he also took a trip down memory lane as he looked at the Filas and Huaraches on the shop's wall.
For those expecting this to be an average episode of Sneaker Shopping, think again. Not only did Fab drop some sneaker knowledge, the shop's owner, Mike Packer, also made a guest appearance to bless him with an unreleased pair of Packer Shoes x New Balance Worthy 740s in a buttery purple suede, which are set to release on Friday, November 14 at Packer Shoes.
