adidas Originals has been killing it in the lifestyle space with its assortment of street-ready runners. From ZX Flux to the SL Loop Runner and now the Tubular, the Three Stripes has pulled out all the stops this year to keep you laced in Originals. While the aforementioned styles have quickly become go-to pieces, let's not forget about another runner that's been making some noise on the performance side, the Primeknit Boost.

For the upcoming winter, adidas finally gives its knitted runner a reflective update. In fact, it's the first of its kind as far as Primeknit is concerned. One iteration sees a tonal black knitted upper with striking reflective hits throughout the sneaker, including the Three Stripes, tongue, and heel.

Despite the update, which is crucial for wearers running at night, the production of the sneaker still remains as efficient as ever.

"One important thing to take note about this new technology is that you’re incorporating the same eco-friendly and efficient way of creating knitted footwear thanks to Primeknit’s innovation but you’re also streamlining the reflective functionality of the product," adidas Running Senior Product Manager Matthias Amm told Hypebeast. "There’s no post-processing needed meaning no addition layers and a reduced weight."

Look for the sneakers to release on December 19 through adidas and select stockists.
