Fam, don't tell me you were expecting Yeezy Boosts, SMH.

Tennis legend Stan Smith's eponymous sneaker, the crisp silhouette too often jacked by luxury brands, is the most successful sneaker that adidas has ever put out. And with 65 years' worth of Three Stripes sneakers under its belt, that's saying a whole lot.

In adidas' comprehensive annual report for 2014, which consists of 268 pages of the company's performance in the last year, it was revealed that 40 million pairs of the vintage tennis sneaker have been sold since its debut in the market in 1973. And it was just last year that the Stan Smith started popping off again when it was reissued with a slew of new colorways and collaborations. Talk about impressive.

The O.G. Stan Smith is obviously getting a lot of love, but some of the newer adidas silhouettes are making a name for themselves, too. In fact, according to adidas' report, 78% of sales from 2014 came from sneakers that were debuted that same year. This includes a bevy of styles like the Pure Boost and SL Loop Runner. The ZX Flux alone sold 3 million pairs.

The flourish over at adidas is real, and this is before Kanye West even dropped his signature line.
