Earlier this month, news of a surprise drop at Niketown London of a new 'Oreo' Flyknit Racer colorway had sneakerheads scurrying to hit up overseas connects and speculating when or if the shoe would get a wider release.

Well, today, Nike tweeted an official release date of April 24 for these new Oreos. Sadly, for U.S. based fans, the date is for the Nike Store Europe drop. While some 'heads have connections that allow them to cop off the site, most probably don't. Besides trying to cop off eBay, those that want this pair just have to wait and pray that Nike drops these soon.

While there are no guarantees of a U.S. release, chances are that these will eventually hit stateside so stay tuned to @NikeStore in the event that the Swoosh decides to drop these out of the blue.

UPDATE (July 9, 2:59 p.m.):

Foot Locker is launching this sneaker in-store.
