The IRS tax deadline is today, and a majority of taxpayers have already filed, with returns averaging upwards of $2,800. The only question remaining is what exactly should sneakerheads cop with that kind of cash?

Sole Collector rounded up some of the craziest ways possible to drop those stacks, but one of them actually doesn't sound like such a bad idea. At $90 a pop, the average US tax return could afford 31 pairs of icy white-on-white Nike Air Force 1s.

Although 31 pairs is more than most people would need in a lifetime, there's nothing quite as timeless as a pair of crispy white-on-whites, and stockpiling a few dozen would allow 'heads to stay fresh for, literally, ever.

Of course, there are obviously much better ways to invest that cash, but if you're determined to spend it on sneakers, check out Sole Collector for more ideas.
