Last month, we covered the story of hundreds of repossessed sneakers that wound up in a police auction. Now, there's another batch of seized sneakers up for the taking, but they're going to be donated instead of sold to the highest bidder.

Police in Florida's St. Lucie County recently seized around a dozen pairs of shoes during a drug investigation. Instead of taking them to the auction block, the police decided to take a more charitable approach and donate them to the school district where officials will distribute them to students in need, according to a local ABC affiliate.

Although we don't have a complete list of the donated sneakers, we can see there's a pair of "Gamma" Air Jordan XIs in the mix along with an array of colorways of the Nike KD VI.
