Nike is pulling out all the stops for the Air Max 95's 20th anniversary. After unveiling two updates to the mid-90s runner, Nike shifts the attention to designer Sergio Lozano's inspiration, the human anatomy.

In order to accurately portray the sneaker's flesh-and-blood roots, Nike tapped two artists that specialize in anatomical work, Andy Van Dinh and Katie Scott. Van Dinh took on the O.G. Air Max 95 and the soon to be released Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard, while Scott focused her attention on the women's Air Max 95 Ultra model.

The results are quite fascinating, if not a little bit weird. For more information on these literal interpretations, head over to Nike now, where you'll also find an interview with Van Dinh and Scott.
