By and large, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 hasn't had many quality control hiccups — especially nothing like the broken zippers that some experienced with the Boost 750 — but we can confirm that one Reddit user has received what appears to be a defective pair.
From the looks of things, the Primeknit upper on this pair of "Pirate Black" 350s wasn't properly affixed to its midsole, resulting in a noticeable gap. Some Reddit users have advised the owner to glue it into place himself, but that sounds like it could be a risky procedure for one of the biggest sneakers of the year.
The owner says he's reached out to adidas for a replacement and has only been offered a refund at this point. The good news is that these are the only "defective" Boost 350s we've heard of thus far, but it's definitely worth giving your pair a closer inspection, especially if you're dropping eBay money.
