Fresh off the heels of his latest collaboration, the Grand Slam-inspired fragment design x NikeCourt Air Trainer 1, Hiroshi Fujiwara gave GQ and Highsnobiety some of his most revealing interviews so far. The famed designer dropped knowledge on everything from future Air Jordan projects to the reasons he sticks with Nike for sneaker collabs.

"I would love to do the II or III if I can do it. I like the classic-looking Jordans. The new Jordans, I understand the designs, but I don't think I would wear them as much," Fujiwara told GQ. Hold up, did he say fragment design x Air Jordan IIIs? Where can we sign up?

Unfortunately, as we know too well, many of Hiroshi's best collaborations are nearly impossible to cop. According to him, the limited factor is determined by Nike, and if he had it his way, the sneakers would be more accessible. "There's many shoes out there. I want everyone to have it who wants to have it," Fujiwara said. He then snuck in a subtle jab at resellers: "It's hard because so many people buy them just to make money. And I don't like that."

And if you're wondering why Hiroshi has been so devoted to Nike throughout the years, the answer is actually quite simple. "I like Nike as a company but I like the people in there more, like Mark Parker [whom] I work with. So if [they’re] still there, I will be at Nike. Many people who do collaborations with Nike, they might do adidas the next year – but I just do Nike because I just love the people," Fujiwara told Highsnobiety

Although that means we won't be getting a fragment design x adidas Yeezy Boost, we have to salute Hiroshi for staying loyal.
