Once upon a time Kobe Bryant was testing the waters of free agency and his cross town rival, The Los Angeles Clippers, were rumored to be a front runner for his potential new team. That move obviously never happened, but it would have drastically changed the landscape of the NBA and had an impact on Kobe's signature shoes. Someone at Nike must have remembered those Clippers rumors and decided to give the Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon 5 a blue-and-red makeover.

If you're a Lakers fan, this colorway clearly breaks the unwritten rule of wearing your rival team's colors. Seeing these sneakers emerge has to be especially painful for Lakers fans, considering that the Clippers are a better team these days. Clipper colors or not, you can't deny that this is a good-looking sneaker. Just don't expect to see the Black Mamba lace them up anytime soon.

Details on a U.S. release are not available yet, but you can grab these online at Polish retailer ATAF for approximately $110.
