Earlier this week, Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his milestone 500th career goal with a ceremony hosted by Real Madrid. The star forward, who's now tied as Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer, admitted that he's "been a bit of an asshole" with the media recently, but it's what he said about his son's footwear that has us in stitches.
The three-time FIFA Ballon D'Or winner gave his son props for being "dressed very smartly," but voiced his disapproval for the the boat shoe style sneakers worn by Ronaldo Jr. "Next time, you can't come like this," Ronaldo said, according to Mirror.
This was more than likely just some playful fatherly advice, but we can't help but laugh at the idea of Ronaldo hitting his son with the equivalent of a "what are those?"
