We got the first part of the adidas "Vanguard Collection" presented by Extra Butter last month, and now we have a look at the second and final part of this pack. To follow up the ZX Flux and ZX Trail, the next part takes on two more classic adidas models in the Rod Laver and Stan Smith.
The first two sneakers in this collection used nautical and outdoor themes, while part two takes on a scholarly inspiration. The "Wunderkind" Stan Smith comes with a tan wool-like upper, white sole, and leather heel, for a lux take on the classic silhouette. The "Scholar" Rod Laver adds embroidered bees and scholarly pins on the navy blue upper, red details, and white and gum on the midsole and outsole. Just like part one, these two sneakers perfectly execute the theme by giving classic models an elegant and scholarly touch.
Both sneakers will retail for $100, and will initially release at an Extra Butter in-store event on Oct. 20, followed by a web release on Oct. 21, at extrabutterny.com.
