The debut of the auto-lacing Nike Mags dominated headlines last month, resulting in an upcoming release that is one of the most anticipated ever. Like the last Mags to release, the auto-lacing 2016 version will be limited to those who can afford to win them in an auction. With such a high demand and limited supply, it was only a matter of time before fakes starting popping up, but we didn't expect to see ones with working auto-laces this quick.

Fake_Education took to Instagram to share a video of the first "unauthorized" auto-lacing Nike Mags, made by perfectkicksnet. The video shows a fully functioning auto-lacing system on an unfinished pair of replica Mags. A scan of the supplier's Instagram page reveals that they have a large customer base for their "unauthorized" pairs of Jordans, Mags, Yeezy Boosts, and more. It's equally fascinating and scary to see how quick and precise fake sneakers are being made these days. Stay woke.
