Concepts is making its way out west and to celebrate the opening of its new California location, it's teaming up with New Balance on its 998.
Sharing a preview of the collab on Instagram, Concepts posted a photo of the 998's back heel which shows a rather colorful story as well as a carbon fiber heel cap. The latest collab has been dubbed "Gran Tourer" and is assumed to be a nod to the automobiles known for both their luxury, performance, and ability to drive long distances in comfort. It's a fitting theme considering Concepts roots are based in Cambridge, Massachusetts with its latest shop opening across the country in Costa Mesa.
Having already been crowned Complex's Best Sneaker Collaboration of 2015 with its New Balance 997 "Luxury Goods," Concepts shows they aren't resting on their laurels and they aren't wasting anytime in coming for some of that Christmas money.
The shoes officially drop Saturday, December 26, at all three Concepts locations as well as its online shop.
