John Geiger and Dominic "The Shoe Surgeon" Chambrone are gearing up to set the sneaker game ablaze once again with another Nike Air Force 1.
With Geiger officially retiring his "Misplaced Checks" design, Geiger took to Instagram earlier today to post previews of his and Chambrone's latest project with the initial photo depicting an all-white AF1 with a leather tongue label bearing his signature and a gold metal loop accompanied with a caption that reads, "I always wanted to release a luxury AF1 mid." In the second photo, Geiger posts the shoes outsole which features a ripple/wave design traditionally seen on boots and dress shoes while making the official announcement of "Lux AF1 Mids up next."
Will these generate the same type of hate/hype that the "Misplaced Checks" did? We'll have to wait and see. But this latest move by the dynamic duo illustrates why Geiger finds himself among the 25 Most Influential People in Sneakers and Chambrone amongst the very best of the custom sneaker game.
