New Balance is no a stranger to premium footwear, but its latest silhouette is actually one of its most high quality offerings yet.

Dubbed the ML2016, this model is inspired by the classic 1600 upper and is the latest sneaker to be designed and developed in the New Balance's Tokyo Design Studio. The Boston-based brand calls it "a culmination of New Balance's premium technologies and its expertise in crafted, quality sneakers," and its not hard to see why.

For starters, the ML2016's toe area is completely seamless, giving off a classy dress shoe vibe. As far as branding, it's almost nonexistent, as the sneaker's side panels feature an perforated "N" logo that blends in with the rest of the upper. To complete the premium feel, the ML2016 will be offered in timeless black, brown, and grey makeups.

The New Balance ML2016 drops at the top of the year on January 1, 2016 for $180.
