Back in October, we covered the story of sneaker restorer Jose Armando Bustamante, better known to sneakerheads as RetroSnickers. That clip saw the teenager turn a pair of trashed O.G. "Military Blue" Jordan IVs into a wearable grail, and now he's back at it with another one.

For his latest project, RetroSnickers tackles a pair of 1994 "Black/Cement" Jordan IIIs. Although they aren't quite as ravaged as the 1989 "Military Blue" IVs, these IIIs weren't exactly wearable, but they will be by the time he gets done.

To start, RetroSnickers removes the sole stitch by stitch, then begins cleaning up some of the cosmetic issues. Next up, he grabs a fresh pair of 2007 "Fire Red" IIIs, using what he calls the "boiling water method" to remove their sole and transplant it onto the 1994 pair. As the video progresses, he's even able to fix the damaged "Nike Air" branding at the heel, a problem that's plagued sneakerheads for years.

In the end, the IIIs are (almost) as good as new, but don't take our word for it. Check out the entire process in the video below.
