We've seen some pretty insane auctions for rare Air Jordan sneakersover the years, but this one could very well be the holy grail for some collectors.

Pictured above is what's purported to be the only known pair of game-worn "Black/Infrared" Air Jordan VIs in existence, and it's being sold later this month by New York-based Philip Weiss Auctions. The sneakers, which were worn by Michael Jordan himself during the 1991 Playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers, are autographed and come complete with certificates of authenticity so you know they're the real deal.

These Air Jordan VIs are especially significant because they were the sneakers worn by M.J. during his first NBA championship win en route to the first of two Chicago Bulls three-peats. Now, they can be yours.

The auction begins on Saturday, February 27 at 10 a.m. EST at Philip Weiss Auctions in Lynbrook, N.Y.
