Concepts closed out 2015 with one of its strongest collaborations of the entire year, the "Grand Tourer" New Balance 998, and now we're getting an official look at what's next in line from these two Boston-based brands.

For this project, Concepts is heading into the wilderness with a modernized version of New Balance's rugged Trailbuster silhouette from the '90s. Known as the TBTF, this Trailbuster Reengineered sneaker takes on a "Night Trail" theme that is reminiscent of the store's 2009 "Freedom Trail" collaboration.

Instead of the earthy shades of brown seen on 2009's release, this "Night Trail" TBTF dons a black and reflective silver colorway to ensure you're seen, even in the darkest of conditions. Reflective Concepts branding appears on the laces, while the store's logo also shows up on a red insole and hang tag.

This collab, which is part of Concepts' 20th anniversary series, releases this Saturday, February 6, at Concepts Cambridge and Concepts NYC at 10 a.m. EST followed by an online launch at 12 p.m. EST. They're priced at $135 and come with free shipping.
