Sneakers and sports go hand in hand—except for when it comes to hockey. But that didn't stop New York's Extra Butter from collaborating with the NHL and Reebok on a New York Islanders-themed Ventilator Supreme.

This collaboration picks up where Extra Butter's "Street Meat" Ventilator from 2015 left off, as the store has once again found a unique way to weave New York culture into a sneaker. Here, it uses the Reebok Ventilator Supreme silhouette to celebrate the Islanders' first season playing in Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

"We were excited for the team's move into Brooklyn and wanted to share our passion with existing fans, while speaking to new fans with a design that tells the story of the New York Islanders dynasty," Extra Butter co-owner Jason Faustino said.

This aptly named "Dynasty" Reebok Ventilator Supreme is officially licensed by the NHL, with Islanders branding appearing on the tongue and embroidery referencing the team's four consecutive Stanley Cup wins from 1980 to 1983 at the heel.

The Extra Butter x New York Islanders x Reebok Ventilator Supreme "Dynasty" drops next week on March 18 at Extra Butter's Rockville Center location on Long Island, followed by a March 19 release at the store's Lower East Side location and online. Retail is $135
