Nike turned in its 2016 third quarter earnings report today, and the brand is currently breaking down some of the details in a conference call. The biggest reveal so far was Nike President Trevor Edwards saying that last December's "72-10" Air Jordan XI release was the largest online launch in the brand's history.
According to Edwards, the "72-10" XIs outperformed every sneaker release in nike.com history, and actually doubled the brand's previous biggest online release. Considering that these Jordan XIs were still in stock a full hour after their release and have seen numerous restocks since, this is pretty shocking.
