The first-seed Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team just got a fire Nike KD8 Elite PE before their first round opener.
Nike recently unveiled the high-top sneaker, which Kevin Durant has already been spotted wearing ahead of the postseason. Here, the sock-equipped KD9 Elite takes on a simple white, navy, and red color scheme that could easily double as a "USA" make up during this summer's Olympic games. What sets them apart is a Huskies logo at the heel, along with a "UConn" hit on the translucent outsole.
Like many of the March Madness PEs we've seen thus far, these probably aren't going to hit retail, so you'll have to catch them on the court when the women Huskies take on Robert Morris tomorrow at 11 a.m. EST.
