Here's one Nike Flyknit update you probably didn't see coming.

The latest silhouette to undergo the Flyknit makeover is none other than the Nike Tennis Classic. The Tennis Classic—originally known as the Wimbledon GTS—was first issued in 1982 and made famous by none other than John McEnroe. Over the years, it's seen a number of style changes and special edition releases, but this has to be the most daring facelifts we've seen yet.

According to Sneaker News, the revamped Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit is set to drop in both red and grey styles later this month, with more colorways following soon thereafter. Stay tuned for the latest info on these.
