NBA legend Penny Hardaway has one of the most popular signature sneaker lines of all time, but he also helped make another pair famous, too. Hardaway laced up a pair of PE Nike Zoom Flight 96s for 1996 Olympics, and has been associated with the sneaker ever since. According to Sneaker Dave, Nike plans to retro it this summer, with the full PE details included.

With the 20 year anniversary of USA men's basketball taking the gold at those Atlanta Games approaching, it makes sense that Nike would bring classic Olympic sneakers back. We already know the "Olympic" Nike Air More Uptempo that Scottie Pippen wore that year will also be releasing too, so this promises to be a great summer for USA-themed sneaker drops.
