With an estimated net worth of $25 billion, Nike co-founder Phil Knight is officially the richest person in all of sports. As good as Knight is at making money, he's also known for giving it away with generous donations, but even we didn't see this one coming.

In a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning set to air on April 24, Knight said he actually plans to give almost all of his fortune away. "By the time, you know, the lives of my children and their kids run out, I will have given most of it to charity," Knight told CBS' Lee Cowan. Last February, Knight donated a record-breaking $400 million to Stanford University, and similar donations have been made on a near-monthly basis.

Elsewhere in the interview, Knight touches on his ties to Oregon, his relationship with co-founder Bill Bowerman, controversial moments in Nike's history, and much more. His highly anticipated memoir, Shoe Dog, will begin shipping next week.
