Last year, rumor had it that Tinker Hatfield would be the lead designer of the Nike Kobe 11. Although Eric Evar turned out to be the designer of Kobe Bryant's latest signature sneakers, Tinker finally got to work his magic on the silhouette.

The Nike Kobe 11 "Tinker" features a combination of black, grey, red, and white to create a coloway extremely reminiscent of one of his greatest designs – the "Black Cement" Air Jordan III. While the Nike Kobe 11 is a completely different sneaker than the Air Jordan III from a design standpoint, the color blocking is as close as possible. A black and grey upper with small hints of red, a red in-your-face Swoosh to symbolize the bold Jumpman, and the grey and red tongue are tell-tale signs of its resemblance. In addition, both Kobe Bryant and Tinker Hatfield's signatures are on the inside of the tongue.

According to Sole Collector, the Nike Kobe 11 "Tinker" is scheduled to release on May 5 for $200.
